Bikes should be staggered so that the heavier bike is on the side near the car and the lighter bike is on the outside.

This is a solid product, and works well with these heavy bikes. I drove on some pretty bumpy roads, and there is some movement due to the weight of the bikes but the rack handles it well. I would recommend this product to anyone.

A little heavy but very sturdy. Bike fits on easily especially if you have help lifting the bike. Drove several hundred miles on first trip and bike never shifted
