Hers and His Basalt ST and Basalt
We love the our bikes so much. Only the rain and colder weather has deterred us thus far because these are fun! My wife has the ST large and it’s perfect for her at 5’9”. I have the standard at 6’2” the wider handle bars are what I needed. The battery life is awesome especially compared to similar style and price range bikes. Oh and the bikes are super stylish at that! Very nice!

Excellent
I love it! To be honest, I believe mine was delivered on August the 4th which was on a Friday and it wasn't supposed to be here until August the 8th which was on a Tuesday. Because I requested the 8th off. I paid for it to be sent to a place where they assemble bikes. So, it got delivered 30 minutes before I had to be at work. I was in such a hurry that I didn't even realize that I didn't even get an owners manual or anything like that. I didn't even have time to deal or think about it. So, it pretty much just set in the shed for a few weeks. Not sure if the assembly guy forgot to give me a Manual or it just didn't come with one., But, every since riding it, I'd have to say I'm loving it. I've practically have had to figure some things out on my own. I'm actually missing a few of the 5 free gifts that I selected so, idk. I was totally new to this and confused as well. But, overall, I love the bike! It's incredible and I'd highly recommend. This thing even has break lights! So far I've ordered a bike cover and two locks and I recieved them. I'm 5'6 and if you are any shorter, I'd recommend the Besalt ST or the Scoria. It's such an amazing bike. Now, if you do choose for it to get sent to a bike shop to be assembled, than make sure you have the time to check and make sure it's all there.

A sturdy all terrain bike
First of all I am impressed with the design and the appearance and many of my friends complimented for its style. Honestly, this is my first time riding an E-bike so I can't comment if it is better than other contemporary E-bikes. Nevertheless, the rides until now are very comfortable and very smooth. I am impressed with the braking system and the balance that this bike provides to the rider, including the PAS system which is very useful especially when going uphill and makes it comfortable with that extra little push from the pedal assist. The throttle is also easy to handle and I was able to attain a speed of 28 mph using the throttle and pedaling combined which is similar to what was advertised. The only problem I had was sometimes the PAS takes a moment to get activated especially when I am going uphill and don't feel that push immediately when I pedal. Overall this is a fun bike to ride and I was also able to ride it even in the rain (although I suggest not driving in adverse weather conditions like heavy snow or thunderstorms irrespective of the bikes excellent balance that it provides and I also would strongly advise everyone to wear a helmet while riding). I however have a remark on the delivery process as I opted for professional assembly (yeah I am not good at this) and the main issue was that I had to wait a long time because the free accessories were not shipped with the bike and it took another whole week for the accessories to arrive and the bike was assembled only after they came and it took totally 3 weeks to get my assembled bike. Also the free helmet was not shipped and after notifying it I guess they still forgot about it and I had to spend money on buying a new helmet, however that's a minor. I would appreciate if mokwheel can speed up the shipping process so that customers don't have to wait for their bikes.

Great bike for a fat man
I've had my Basalt SO for about two weeks now. The weather has prevented me from taking daily rides, but I've managed to sneak in a few 10+ miles rides on gravel & pavement. It's really nice being able to get up a hill without having to get off and push. At around 350lbs I'm pleasantly surprised the motor has enough power to get me up a fairly significant incline without PA. Obviously, much faster while pedaling too though. Can't wait for a break in the rain to take this on a nice long trail ride.
